Turtle back home

During our stay at Filicudi Island, we had the pleasure to meet the Wildlife Filicudi Conservation, a non profit organization that cares for marine life. They are specially active on the reinsertion of marine turtles, and the protection of dolphins.

 We were happy to presence the recover of a turtle that had ingested plastic, a common problem nowadays for many marine species. 

 Fortunately this turtle made it to expulse the plastic, and bringing it back to water was a success :)
